Mangosteen fruit is often called "Queen of Fruits" due to its pleasant flavor. The tropical fruit naturally contains xanthones. Research indicates that xanthones have powerful antioxidant properties. Mangosteen also provides naturally-occuring flavonoids, lactones and phenolic acids.
