Omega-3

Omega-3, 6 and 9 are polyunsaturated fatty acids. Omega-3 and Omega-6 are called essential fatty acids, because they are not produced by the body and are supplied through diet or Supplements. Omega-9 is called a non-essential fatty acid because it is produced in the body. Omega-3 is the most important being anti-inflammatory and having a significant role in maintaining heart health. All are pro-inflammatory and are necessary for a normal function of the immune system.
