Lactozyme is a supplemental source of the probiotics Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 and Bifidobacterium bifidum organisms. Each tablet supplies 50 million organisms each of Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 and Bifidobacterium bifidum organisms when packaged. Although antibiotics kill bacteria, they dont discriminate between the friendly and unfriendly organisms, so following antibiotic therapy the balance between good and bad bacteria in the intestines can be upset. Probiotics aide in restoring this balance.

Active Ingredients

Vegetable culture concentrate, Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 , and Bifidobacterium bifidum. Specially grown, biologically active vegetable culture containing naturally associated phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperature to preserve associated enzyme factors.
