Coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinone, is a critical metabolite in the production of cellular energy. CoQ10 is also a crucial fat-soluble antioxidant. This formula is enhanced with vitamin C for added water-soluble antioxidant activity.
CoQ10 is a true coenzyme and an essential component of the mitochondria. Mitochondria produce ATP (the body's chemical energy currency) by way of their electron transport chains. Each capsule contains 50 mg of ubiquinone (CoQ10).
