NOW® Probiotic Defense™ is a combination of "friendly" probiotic bacteria, including clinically validated strains, blended into a fermented whole food base. NOW® Probiotic Defense™ combines 13 active bacterial strains formulated to support gastrointestinal health and immune system function. FOS (fructo-oligosaccharide) is also included in this product to assist healthy growth of Acidophilus and Bifidus organisms.
The probiotic strains in this product have been identity-verified using DNA-fingerprinting technology.
Take 1 capsule 3 times daily with water, preferably on an empty stomach. Start with 1 capsule per day and gradually increase to 3 capsules per day.
Refrigeration recommended.
Hypromellose (cellulose capsule), fermented molasses, probiotic cultures, stearic acid (vegetable source), chicory root, inulin/fos (fructo-oligosaccharide) and silicon dioxide.
Contains wheat, milk and soy.
Not manufactured with egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
May contain trace levels of dairy protein.
