Our unique strain of viable Lactobacillus acidophilus is cultured in dairy-free soy protein isolate, apple juice and honey. When manufactured this potent probiotic contains billions of organisms per serving. In addition to the actual beneficial organisms this culture contains all of the acidophilus' nutritionally valuable metabolic by-products such as natural antibiotics, antibodies, vitamins, mineral metabolites and enzymes.
