Our unique strain of viable Lactobacillus acidophillus is cultured in non-fat skim milk. In addition to the actual beneficial organisms this culture contains all of the acidophilus' nutritionalyy valuable metabolic by-products such as natural antibiotics, antibodies, vitamins, mineral metabolites and enzymes. The organisms and their by-products will retain much of their nutritional value well beyond the "Best Before" date.
